Sangeeta Hadke is a dedicated Interior Designer in Architecture field on a mission to deliver sustainable solutions in her Projects. She has successfully completed around 30 projects in Architecture Designing field. She is socially active & is currently running a NGO from her native place Mehidpur Road which distributes mementos to students who achieve highest marks in Class 12th since 2007. Other areas of interest includes acting, working for several print shoots, Governement adds, Tv serial, web series etc.
What inspired you to pursue a career in interior designing, and how did you get started?
It was an inbuilt instinct. I liked designing each small thing in my house since childhood. My mother used to decorate our village home with all sorts of crochet textiles.
Can you share your experience as a woman in a male-dominated field like architecture and interior designing?
It’s difficult but not unachievable. Our passion can drive us through all the odds of any male dominating industry.
How do you balance your professional work with your social work and artistic pursuits?
Some days are loaded but I am fortunate I am blessed with very understanding environment be it work or home. Whenever there are interior projects running I devote all my time and energy until they are finished. In between when I get chance I devote my time to social works and other activities
How do you think your artistic background influences your approach to interior designing?
It majorly does. Whatever is within is displayed out in our work. Artistic work inspired to develops interior designing concepts that are unique and innovative and it also depends on clients budget
What was your experience like working on notable projects like the ones with Vinvyas and Doordarshan?
Vinyas & Doordarshan -Both the platforms had a great experience, both required professionalism and experience. Each and every project had its own uniqueness and it was all together a great learning process as well. Interior projects gives a sense of satisfaction that any home/Centre/building has been built for a lifetime in which wonderful memories shall stay forever and I am thankful that via Vinyas, I become a part of the process and journey ahead. Doordarshan projects were wonderfully crafted, it made me feel very active and live.
How do you stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in interior designing?
There are lot of magazines, books on monthly basis. Moreover, since trends are taking a shift with new designs/products, and there are lot of social media pages revolving now-a-days, I still believe each design is something which comes from insights of what clients eventually want as per their own taste, preference and budget.
What motivated you to take on leadership roles in organizations like Nari Shakti Brigade and Rashtriya Shikshak Sanchetna?
Any women has the ability to be vocal and represent society at large . When within a group or any platform we can communicate our views people recognise us as strong individuals and opinionated which helps to work for such organisations who aim at doing good at large specially for women.
Can you share your thoughts on the importance of women’s empowerment and how you contribute to it through your work?
Women’s empowerment is essential because it ensures that women have equal opportunities, rights, and access to resources. Through our activities, we try to motivate females to start off their own work by donating for example sewing machines etc and by actively and participating supporting initiatives that promote equal opportunities for women.
How do you manage your time between your various roles and responsibilities?
Usually all the programmes are scheduled in a week’s time, it helps to plan and organize accordingly. Interior projects when running needs daily output so its becomes a routine for that period of time.
What advice would you give to young women aspiring to make a difference in their communities?
My advice to young women would be – Confidence is key. Trust your abilities, even if you face doubt or challenges from others., Change doesn’t always have to be grand. Small actions can have a big impact over time, so begin where you are with what you have.

Working on documentaries and ad films has been an exciting and rewarding experience for me.
