Cropway wins “MANAGE-Samunnati
Agri-Startup Awards 2022”
for the State of Chhattisgarh”
Raipur : It’s another amazing day at Cropway. Cropway (Boaz Agri Analytics Pvt. Ltd.) was awarded as the Winner of “MANAGE-Samunnati Agri-Startup Awards 2022 for the State of Chhattisgarh” at MANAGE, Hyderabad today.
The company feels humbled that their efforts to empower the farmers and strengthen the agricultural ecosystem has been recognized. The honour recognizes Cropway for “being an exemplary impact-driven start-up striving towards reimagining, renewing, and rebuilding the Indian Agricultural Ecosystem”. The event was graced by the presence of Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, Government of India, along with Mr. Anil Kumar SG, Founder & Group CEO, Sammunati; and Dr. P. Chandra Shekara, Director General, National Institute of Agriculture Extension Management (MANAGE). This second edition of the award intends to encourage and inspire the new generations of Agritech entrepreneurs working hard on issues that plague the Indian agricultural ecosystem.
The company believes that increasing agricultural output is a huge challenge for our farmers. They must produce more with less resources in a more volatile weather and in a more environmental-friendly way, and still be significantly profitable and sustainable. This is where Cropway comes in for their support and empowerment. Cropway, a brand of Boaz Agri Analytics Pvt. Ltd. was founded in October 2020 in Raipur, Chhattisgarh by four Co-founders: Hakimmudin F. Saify, Rituparna Parial, Matthew McNulty, and Shlok Agrawal. All the Cropway Co-founders were present at the Award ceremony.
Cropway took birth with a vision to solve the problems of productivity, profitability, and sustainability for the farmers while also enhancing the agricultural value-chain. It does so by the use of cutting-edge information and communication technologies and support for better agronomic practices, market linkage, credit linkage, and capacity building through a SaaS-based 360-degree agritech platform. A number of Agritech companies which were 2 to 7 years old participated in the second edition of the MANAGE-Samunnati Agri-Startup Awards, 2022. The winners were chosen by an eminent jury based on the novelty of the idea, performance, customer delight, and impact created on the ground.
