Our readers would like to know about your academic achievements and family support for your career?
I completed my schooling from Police Public School and later completed MCA from Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar in 2009. My family have always been my biggest strength especially my mother. Being a widow she always have extra responsibilities but She never focused on her or our lifestyle but education. She always use to say education is the most precious investment. She still supports me and always encourage me to do the best in life.
Why you chose to devote your time for social service along with big responsibility of mother of kids?
I have a toddler and an infant to take care. Being a mother i am always on my toes. However i believe,
If kids are our responsibility then social service is also our responsibility. Doing something for kids brings satisfaction but doing something for others brings calmness and peace in life. Life lived for others is worth living.
Who has been your inspiration for social service?
Unpriviledged people in rural areas are my inspiration. Since 2018 i got a chance to live around them and feel their life. I closely observed an old widow and his paralysed son living tough life alone without anybody bothering about them in the village. I noticed old grandparents alone taking care of grandkids in the village. I noticed less educated women being mistreated. I saw people relocating to neighbours houses in monsoons due to high seepage. Every year monsoon has been curse for them. I visited families where old wooden log from roof fell down unexpectedly. Wooden and tiles roof are very unsafe. I have seen kids not going to school until they buy books. I noticed kids wearing torn clothes. For good four years these issues were killing me inside and giving me restless life. I could not stop myself any longer. That pushed me to raise voice for these unheard people. I have always been an introvert and stayed away from social media for long as i have been very family oriented and very reserved. But helpless people around changed me forever and it’s never looking back after that.
Sewa connects you with almighty because you realise you are chosen. Chosen by him.

What is the importance of struggle period of your life. How do you accept day to day challenges as a mother and humanitarian?
Struggle periods keep me grounded and empathetic towards others.
And yes!
For a mother time management is the key. By god’s grace everything is falling in place. I am filled with gatefulness.
You are very confident and focussed for your work. What is the force behind your confidence?
Waheguru is my confidence, strength and force behind. As being humanitarian was never my plan. I will be so empathetic towards helpless and will stick to helping them i never knew this. It’s all because of god’s grace. I felt immense change within me when i saw few highly painful families in a village.
As i always says in my social media posts
ਆਪੇ ਦੇ ਵਡਿਆਈਆ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਾਇਦਾ ॥
You Yourself grant them glory, and You Yourself cause them to act.
How much it is difficult for you to help needy people without any Govt / Corporate sec support?
I have been raising voice for needy for a year and able to help to the extent i can. Nothing is ever difficult if you have faith. I just post. God himself turn things around for who he want to help and connects me with incredible humans around the world who believe in me and always encourage me to keep serving humanity.
Yes! I am sure in future i will get Govt/corporate support as well and i will be able to help much more people who i put on hold sometimes.
How do you meet the financial needs for your humanitarian work?
Through social media. I am grateful to each one who believed in me and supported me to keep serving.
How would you like to define your slogan for humanitarian work “ Help unheard voice?”
People who are highly unpriviledged are far from social media. They hardly have money to top up their basic phones. They dont have hope. That’s why i call them “unheard voices” and try to connect them with priviledged people around the world to help them.
How do you feel when you see smile of face of needy people you supported?
Whenever i am able to bring someone out of darkness, sandstorms & duster through my voice. I strongly feel my life is worth and through those bright happy eyes i see almighty in there. I feel immense peace and calmness by bringing happiness in someone’s life. When we do something for our family it brings sense of responsibility and joy but when we do it for others it add value to your life. This feeling i believe everyone must experience if you are blessed and priviledged to help others.

Tell us about your current or upcoming projects?
With god’s grace currently 3 houses are under construction in villages of Tarantarn, Gurdaspur and Amritsar. Next i am looking forward to start a stitching center for unpriviledged and ambitious rural women and then planning to setup a gym where they will have to pay very less fees in a village to encourage young boys and girls towards good health not drugs.
