To reach the top of any ladder, you must be willing to put in the effort.
It is a difficult field for women, whereas filmmaking is a dominant field for men. I enjoy taking new challenges on field. One of the most important and coveted jobs on a film set is cinematographer.
I use my artistic eye, technical knowledge, and creativity to bring my director’s vision to Cinema.
Every time I receive a project, I strive to prove my worth as women and win the director’s confidence until and throughout to the completion.
As it is a visual media field, we need to be creative and create that Kind of a look upto the mark in a shorter period of time, so we need to give accurate execution.
Two films that established you as cinematographer in the cine industry?
Swamini a historical soap opera (I achieved the best cinematographer awards Of Maharashtra’s prestigious MA.Ta.Sanman.)
“My Wish” is a short film. ( Best film-Mumbai district film festival, Best Director-Pune international film festival.)
Two suggestions for upcoming cinematographers to achieve their goals?
Never give up on what you are learning.. Take every challenge that comes into your field.
Your turn will come. Nothing is impossible; remember, the word itself says, “I am possible.”
Two changes you want to see in bollywood for women professionals?
They should always believe in them and carry their own aura and self-respect.
They are not dolls to be played with; they are Makers.
Two things that attract you in cinematography?
Sets, lighting, and costumes help a film’s visual narrative achieve its overall aesthetic and emotional tone, which is determined by the cinematographer.
Storytelling is made possible by cameras that take pictures. When I’m leading to, the camera views everything with my eyes.
Two best moments of your life, you feel proud?
When I received my first award as the best cinematographer, Ma.Ta.Sanman, I felt like a proud mother when my son held my Lokmat Sakhi awards in his hand at that moment.

Vishwas Nangare Patil (Indian police officer).
Nagraj Manjule (Indian film director).
Two things about people that annoy you?
Taking days to respond.
When people speak incessantly unnecessarily, which annoys me.
To decide on your life, you never regret it?
Choosing a dynamic career in the film industry.
I married a man where my family was against my decision.

He is like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day.
He is the best friend / partner / family member anyone could ask for.
