Beauty is like a cherry on the cake but
your presence of mind that a person
possesses is what shows through him
Our readers would like to know about your academic achievements. What is the impact of higher studies in your path of success?
The untimely enlightenment that education brings to a human helps him tear the barriers held down by darkness and his shortsightedness. It’s the light of everyone’s life.
Education grooms a person and helps a person scale new heights. I am a clinical biochemist and a gold medalist in medical studies. I was a distinguished student throughout and my involvement superseded the boundaries of the classroom and monotonous intellectual surroundings to extra curricular activities, since early days of my childhood. These things have given me an immense burst of confidence and a platform to represent myself in a much more efficient manner.
Why you chose to be a clinical biochemist in your professional career?
I have always felt a special, delicate connection with the sciences but, I wanted to break free from the notorious rat race that callously traps you in it forever. MBBS and NEET were the package they offered but i needed something more, something different. I chose a difficult path to feed my curiosity towards medical science, research and diagnostics hence I am a clinical biochemist today.
You are renowned women entrepreneur. What are the must have qualities of a successful women entrepreneur?
Being an entrepreneur is a difficult job. It’s a fast changing market. Furthermore, being a woman makes it all the more difficult due to other familial responsibilities that we have to take care of as an essential part of society. Yet, things like consistency and hardwork are the simplest but rigorous regimentary changes to maintain and they are what the point of difference is. Representing organisations as their brand ambassador, having national and international association and being a public figure, for somebody like me time management is essential. And finally, leadership stands at the core of this house of a myriad pillars.
Please tell us about your journey from your initial career to being the brand ambassador of multiple companies?
I started as a clinical biochemist but I never believed in having a monotonous life, I believed in versatile growth and I kept trying my hand at different things. That’s way, I got the privilege to represent Rajasthan at the national and international platform winning rounds of Mrs. India International and Mrs. Galaxy Queen of India. Since then, opportunities have been flowing like fresh water but my heart never longed for the reel-glamour life so I chose the social welfare platform. I am currently designated as the national brand ambassador of women empowerment, national health education ambassador of India by World Book of Star Records and honoured as the ambassador for the United Nations’ Indo-Nepal Green Mission by Shree Kalpatru Sansthan, national brand ambassador of Janparishad and many more entities working on different elements of society, motivational speaker, pageant coach and personality groomer.
What are your topmost priorities as celebrity and social activist?
As a celebrity, it is not just my duty, but also my passion to motivate youngsters because thousands of people count upon me to be their role model, to stand up and speak out. I love to groom and mentor people, teach them the nitty gritties of the glamour world. The twin role of mine as a social worker demands me to cause a Domino effect for monumental changes in society and its working. Currently I am working for women empowerment, health education, youth empowerment, health sector, Thalassemia awareness, blood donation awareness, education for needy students and environment conservation are the sectors where I am making tireless efforts to contribute in bringing remarkable changes.
You are a crown winner with multiple awards in the field of fashion and life style. What is the biggest award for you in this journey?
The biggest achievement in the fashion world would be the India International Crown that I won. This victory was just a game changer. Hypothetically, it’s not just winning. It’s the platform bestowed upon me to transfer my knowledge and ability to people who want it and could may well use it in a life altering manner.
What is your message to upcoming beauty talents, those who are working hard but not getting recognition for their talent?
I only have one line to say, “The Art of all Arts is to make one’s life A Perpetual Victory”. Be patient and never lose hope, eventually your consistency and perseverance would pay off more than raw talent. Learn the most from whatever platform you get a chance from people who bank on you. Beauty is like a cherry on the cake but presence of mind that a person possesses is what shows through him.
How would you like to define women empowerment in present scenario?
I genuinely think women are truly empowered already in today’s time. Right from ancient history, our goddesses have been credited with the creation of health, wealth, almighty power, etc. however, women today just need that final push, someone to hotwire the car that will run like a rocket later. Women now need a society that is excited to accept the newfound, profound confidence and empowerment coupled with the intense thought process they bring to the table. Also, the men should be prepared of synchronising with women, that works in a symbiotic relationship instead of the one-way parasitic one that exists currently.
Talented working women from different creative fields from rural areas are mostly ignored, they do not get proper remuneration for their work. How women from rural India can be financially empowered?
Extension of communication to rural areas fused with the power of the right platform can compress the gap that is currently present between rural and urban India. The right opportunities need to be presented to them so that they too can take advantage of being a first mover in a specific industry, bringing them out of the fixated cycle of agriculture and animal husbandry that currently overflows in India. Awareness too plays an integral role in the queen’s gambit that leads to the transformation of our rural economy. The potential is explosive but it needs to be tapped.
What are your achievements as a business entrepreneur you feel proud?
Business is born and bred in me. Growing up in a family that is immersed with the success of their business, it definitely motivated me and shaped me. A child’s mind is the most malleable resource that exists and that was molded into something brilliant of mine. I have always had my hands occupied with the different businesses of my family. Currently, I am involved with a digital healthcare, wellness and medical tourism organization called ‘bonanza’ as a business entrepreneur.
You are the founding member of new startup “Bonanza Care.” What is the vision and mission of this company?
The vision of BONANZA CARE is simple. Act as the hallmark of healthcare and about bridging between patients, consumers and doctors. They get their services in all aspects of healthcare from their homes to the hospital with the zenith being evolution of society and improvement in its functionality. Giving birth to a healthier social democracy and financially independent with respect to the sanctity of our health and general bodily well-being. It’s the fusion of a business with the goal being enhancement of humans, their mental health and their emotional well-being.
What do you think is the reason behind a large number of womens dealing with mental illness today?
Women lack a loving ear that understands them inside out. They need a sliver of love, a pinch of affection and a spoonful of understanding to exfoliate the many stereotypes and fear that they possess regarding speaking up. They curl up their feelings inside, ticking like a little bomb, waiting for something to trigger it and explode. The fault is of both parties, those who don’t speak and those who don’t listen but, this cultural phenomenon would only be cured through coalescence on a large scale. Regardless of an age barrier, they all need peer understanding on a larger scale. They must have the freedom to share their innermost thoughts and feelings.
Who inspired you the most in life?
My Parents. I am not the one to rush behind celebrities. The cultural degradation that leads to is astronomical as can be seen with the general American public. I have seen my parents, experienced their experiences, learnt from them, celebrities on the other hand only offer a very quixotic view and angle of the world that is seemingly realistic but bridges to surrealism. My parents have guided me since the very beginning, all their investment is reaping massive returns today which is visible.
You are always fit and energetic. What is the secret behind your fitness?
I am a fitness freak. I work out regularly even today, but more importantly I treat my body like a temple. Absolute health is one of the greatest pleasures of life and missing out on that is a shame. I absolutely adore different forms of exercise so that my body can be flexed and utilised to its best abilities, for that, I do zumba often and maintain a rigorous fitness regime. Detoxification of my body is another beautiful way of clearing the cloudy mind and bringing freshness to the body. Meditation and chants are the last piece of the jigsaw, focusing on mental health. As a propagator, I practice it myself too.
Share your beauty mantra with our audience.
The aura, the glow, the vibes, the energy. These are what bring out the beauty of a person and they are all solely dependent on your internal well-being and inner allure. Spiritual awakening should be cleansed and the aura would burst, glowing out of you. My faith resides in mother nature and not in the cosmetics industry or comedogenic products.
Which is your favorite tourist place in your home town Rajasthan?
My favourite tourist destinations would easily be Udaipur and Jodhpur. The serenity of the flowing lakes, the serendipity of a small town, the quaint elegance of old houses and simplicity coupled with the fragrance floating in the air makes them my favourite destination. I feel inside the heart of nature, near with the benefits of Jodhpur’s rich cultural heritage, there is newness each time I visit them. Dropping into the royal state of Rajasthan from the coldness of Kathmandu is a colossal change. Yet, each city has a certain comfort and charm to it, that is missing in metropolitan beasts such as Delhi or Mumbai, it’s a delicacy that cannot be bought but only acquired through reverence and respect.
