Raakhi, a 45-year-old powerhouse, is a mother to two accomplished daughters and hails from Assam. She has been residing in Mumbai for the past two years. Along with her thriving career as a nutritionist and culinary expert, Raakhi is also the Executive Director at Evaakh Foundation, an organization dedicated to child welfare, elderly support, and promoting social well-being. Additionally, she is the founder of The Rose Leaf, a venture that reflects her passion for innovation and creativity.
Her decision to participate in the UMB Pageant was deeply personal. Competing while recovering from a type two tendon tear and joint inflammation, while navigating the complexities of C-PTSD after a turbulent chapter in her life, Raakhi aimed to fulfill the dreams of her 18-year-old self, show her strength, and prove that age and challenges should never limit one’s ambitions. By winning the Wellness Ambassador title, she has further solidified her commitment to promoting holistic health, empowering others through fitness, nutrition, and mental well-being. Joining this pageant wasn’t just about competing; it was about rekindling her inner spark and honoring the young woman she was, who deserves to feel proud and celebrated. For years, she prioritized others, placed their happiness above hers and sought validation outside herself. However, life in the past eight months has taught her one essential lesson: to prioritize her own happiness, pursue her dreams, and commit to her mental and physical well-being.

Their focus on inclusivity and equality aligns with my belief in fostering a progressive and supportive environment for all women in India.

Her message is clear: find joy in activities you love, nourish your body with wholesome foods, and never underestimate the power of self-care. By sharing her journey, she aim to show that true success and happiness stem from nurturing oneself and embracing resilience.
Life has presented her with many challenges, but she has learned that our pain does not define us—our strength does. She want to inspire others to embrace their power, be vocal, stand firm for themselves, and prioritize their mental health and physical fitness. Competing among 65 exceptional women, Raakhi secured her position as one of the top 17 finalists, embodying her dual expertise as a nutritionist and fitness enthusiast.
Winning the Wellness Ambassador title is especially significant, symbolizing her dedication to promoting a lifestyle of balanced health. “Being crowned with this title is more than an accolade; it’s an affirmation of my belief in holistic well-being and my mission to inspire others through fitness, nutrition, and self-care,” Raakhi notes.
“My daughters have been my greatest support and inspiration. At 24 and 19, they embody resilience, independence, and a never-give-up attitude. Watching them rise above challenges with grace and lead their own lives with confidence reminds me that my courage is unshaken and my strength unmatched. They inspired me to rewrite my story and reignite my belief in my dreams. I may have given them life, but they have given me life’s purpose. Their love and unwavering support are the reason I am here today, ready to chase my dreams and inspire others” raakhi adds.
