Writing about Puneet Kaur was inspired by her incredible journey of resilience, determination, and personal growth. Her ability to manage professional responsibilities while navigating the challenges of being a single mother truly reflects the strength of a modern woman.
What stands out the most is not just her career success, but her mindset — the way she transforms struggles into motivation and continuously pushes herself toward excellence. Her story proves that success is not defined by circumstances, but by courage, consistency, and self-belief.
This article is written with the hope of inspiring others — especially women — to chase their dreams fearlessly and rise above limitations.
Success is rarely built on comfort. It is often shaped by courage, resilience, and the determination to keep moving forward even when life becomes difficult. My journey is not just about building a career; it is about proving that a single woman can rise above challenges, raise her children with strength, and create a life filled with dignity, independence, and inspiration.
I began my professional journey in 2009 after completing my Bachelor’s Degree from Mahindra College, Patiala. My first role was as a Front Office Executive at Hotel Eqbal. Those early years taught me the true meaning of discipline, professionalism, and responsibility. Working at the front desk meant meeting different people every day, solving problems quickly, and learning how to communicate with confidence.
With dedication and hard work, I soon grew into the role of Front Office Supervisor at Hotel TNG, where I managed operations and guided team members to maintain high service standards. My career progressed further when I joined Hotel Eqbal Inn as a Front Office Supervisor and Manager, handling guest relations and managing front office operations for a large hospitality property.
While my professional life was growing, life presented me with one of its most challenging responsibilities — being a single mother. Managing a career while raising children alone was not always easy. There were moments of struggle, sacrifices, and emotional challenges. But instead of allowing those situations to stop me, I chose to turn them into my motivation.
My children became my greatest strength. I wanted them to grow up seeing their mother stand strong, work hard, and never give up on her dreams.
In 2017, I made a bold decision to step into a completely new field — the international education industry. I joined Sophiya Consultants in Patiala as a Sales Manager, where I managed student counselling, office operations, and marketing activities. Helping students achieve their dreams of studying abroad gave my work a deeper purpose.
My professional journey continued as I joined Western Overseas as an Administration Assistant and Team Leader of Sales. Here I handled consultations with prospective students, organized appointments, and provided counselling sessions both in person and virtually.
In 2022, I expanded my experience internationally by working with Aplicar in Vancouver, Canada as a Business Development Officer. This role allowed me to build strong relationships with schools and channel partners while conducting educational awareness programs.
Soon after, I worked with the Lester B. Pearson School Board in Montreal, Canada (through Unizportal) as an International Recruitment Manager. I participated in education fairs across India, guided students and parents through admission processes, and helped them understand global education opportunities.
My journey continued as International Recruitment Manager and Marketing Head for Punjab at VK Overseas, where I led school connect initiatives, attended international seminars, and built strong relationships with schools and counsellors across the region.
Presently, I am working with Leverage Edu, continuing my mission of guiding students toward international education opportunities and helping them shape a better future.
With more than 16 years of professional experience, my journey has been filled with learning, growth, and perseverance. But beyond titles and achievements, my greatest success has been raising my children with love, strength, and values.
Throughout this journey, I realized that a woman must carry the courage of a boss lady. She must believe in herself, make bold decisions, and move forward with confidence even when the path is uncertain.
At the same time, I discovered that spiritual growth is equally important. Spirituality has helped me heal, grow stronger, and find peace during life’s most difficult moments. It reminds me that every step, every struggle, and every lesson is part of a greater journey.
Besides my professional work, I am also deeply passionate about writing articles on women empowerment. Through my writing, I hope to inspire women to believe in their strength, break societal barriers, and pursue their dreams with confidence.
To every woman reading this, especially single mothers, I want to say this:
You are stronger than your fears.
You are braver than your circumstances.
And you are capable of building the life you dream of.
A single mother is not defined by her struggles; she is defined by her strength. She carries responsibilities, faces society with courage, and still manages to create a bright future for her children.
Believe in yourself.
Work with determination.
Grow not only professionally but spiritually as well.
Because when a woman rises with courage, confidence, and faith, she doesn’t just change her own life — she becomes a guiding light for many others.
Her journey is not just about her own growth — it is about inspiring growth in others.
Puneet Kaur believes that
“Life can be tough every single day, but if you have courage and determination, you can overcome anything”
Her message for every woman is
“No matter how financially strong your father or husband may be, always strive to be financially independent.
Be confident. Be strong.
Be an empowered woman.”
