I always dreamt of such a career which may give me an exposure directly
to the society, with the children, with the youth
You are highly educated and having many qualifications. Our readers would like to know about your educational achievements?
Euducating onself with virtues and humility is what I think is the best education one can aquire. Qualification is the basic of one’s life, as being an educationalist, a teacher for about 15 years I suppose every human being who is qualified with any degree should have empathy, gratitude and compassion towards humanity. Im MA English literature and pursuing law presently and even looking forward to keep myself updating with many more technical qualifications which can help me render services to the society.
Why Pratishtha wanted to be an educationist?
I always dreamt of such a career which may give me an exposure directly to the society, with the children, with the youth.. And the best profession which fitted to my thoughts was being an educationalist. Here after being an English teacher for years i gained the real award of my life… My students, who still regard my teachings and me… Even though now I am an Enterprenure but still whenever I get a chance to share my knowledge and thoughts I feel blessed as an educationalist.
Please tell us your success story after initial education from an educationist to successful entrepreneur.
After being an educationalist for about half of my career, I wanted to explore much more in my life. As was always passionate about my co curricular activities like dance, drama, singing, anchoring, writing I developed these skills into enterprenureship and designed my own Company… The Function Junction an event management company… But this event management company was designed with a motto of organising only such events which can spread awareness in the society, which can bring employment to the needy and talented group of people, which can bring smiles to the faces..
What are your priorities for your social work as an active member of Redcross society ?
As a social activist you can never set your priorities. Any active case that comes in knowledge is important to be handled. Its an honour to be a member of Red Cross Society where we are always motivated to serve the humanity leaving behind all our personal problems aside. When personally I am into any social activity my first priority is to focus on the root cause and its permanent solution. Many a times it happened that just providing basic help was not enough, rather regular and continuous grooming with attention to the particular cause was required. I must say serving mankind is my first priority as a social activist and a member of Redcross Society.
How do you manage your professional work and personal responsibilities?
This entirely depends on one’s mindset. We females are blessed with, or it wont be wrong if I say we females are programmed in such a way that we can efficiently handle our professional and personal responsibilities parallelly. If I talk about myself both my personal and professional responsibilities are my passion. And if one is passionate about something its nothing difficult to handle multiple things at a time. My passion for my work motivates me to excel professionally and my affection towards my family keeps me active in household activities.
Right from my childhood I have been learning a lot from mother nature. The essence of kindness, the beauty of calmness, the strength in simplicity and lot more can be experienced one can get inspired in such a positive way which is unimaginable.
You have achieved various prestigious awards for your social services. What is the importance of these awards in your life?
Awards and honours are always priceless. I take those as appreciation for my work. But, somewhere I feel that more than awards & honours the blessing that comes to me for the work I do matters more for me. The abstract love & wishes protects me from all evils. Awards are momentary but the blessings i recieve against my social work are the real awards for me.
You are always fit and energetic, What is the reason behind this?
Zeal & passion towards your work always keeps you motivated, active and energetic. Even tough some days you are down with fever or other medical issues but if you have fixed some target for yourself then it wont let you sit back.
Not a single minute you would like to lie down if you are motivated to work and my real tonic is when someone smiles back to me for a little help.
All you need is a positive inner instinct, self motivation and self love this is what brings fitness and energy to work passionately throughout your life. Age never matters, situations never matters what matters is your own zest
