You are the Founder and CEO of “ Safroneya.” What are your top most priorities and vision behind this?
Safroneya is a holistic well-being centre and organization where I offer a restorative space for individuals to receive guidance, healing, and support. I work with various divination modalities, such as tarot, runes, tea leaf reading, and handwriting analysis, to help people gain clarity and insight. For physical rejuvenation, we incorporate intuitive energy healing, crystal healing, and chakra healing. Art therapy is another key aspect of our work, particularly effective in managing depression and stress, and it’s especially transformative for children.
In addition to my healing practices, I teach students the art of tarot and rune readings. I am also an author and podcaster, sharing insights on personal growth and well-being. The vision behind Safroneya is to help people move past their stuck mindsets. When individuals find themselves in critical situations, it’s often difficult to focus on the solution. The challenge intensifies when willpower and focus are replaced by ego and rigidity, which can sometimes be influenced by one’s surroundings.
Just as saffron is a magical herb that enhances everything it touches, Safroneya serves as a remedy for life’s challenges. It not only helps individuals find peace of mind and happiness by addressing their struggles but also guides them toward personal growth and a deeper connection with their life’s purpose. Safroneya is more than just a personal journey of self-improvement and awakening—it’s a vision to empower women to recognize their life purpose and achieve enlightenment. Through these sacred divination tools, I aim to spread beautiful, transformative energy that helps others grow and evolve.
Pl share some of your inspirational works as a co -director of “Balika Vidya Army.” What are the challenges for you in this post?
Working with young minds is one of the most challenging tasks, especially when the struggle lies in convincing parents to allow their daughters to pursue education for a brighter future. BalikaVidya focuses on reaching remote villages in India to inspire and empower girls through education. The entire initiative is funded by the Aarumbham Foundation, founded by Ms. Peeyoosha Chintuluri. Through this program, children are introduced to AI technology, and teachers are accessible to them online. BalikaVidya ensures these resources are made available to support their learning journey.
Your journey is truly inspiring, from being an author and social activist to a psychic medium and energy healer. What drives your passion for helping others, and how do you balance your various pursuits?
It all began with my journey as an entrepreneur, which eventually led me to explore other passions such as writing, podcasting, and teaching dance. However, becoming a social activist felt like my true calling. Life often presents us with opportunities to discover our purpose, but we tend to overlook these signs. My time in the corporate world as an HR professional, combined with being married to an Army officer, brought me closer to understanding a sense of emptiness that lingered despite a life filled with abundance. Working for the welfare of soldiers’ wives was a deeply heartfelt experience, as their role as unsung heroes comes with challenges on many levels. Working for the upliftment of young girls and women rescued from brothels and human trafficking profoundly changed my perspective on life. Women often need just a small nudge to recognize their self-worth and reclaim their self-esteem. My endeavour is to be that gentle push, helping them reconnect with their inner strength and embrace their empowered, authentic selves.
Can you share a pivotal moment or experience that shaped your path and led you to become the person you are today?
I have always been intrigued by the supernatural and have had clairvoyant and clairaudient abilities for as long as I can remember. Since childhood, I have often found myself questioning certain events that happened to me and around me, but at the time, I couldn’t find the answers. There was a defining moment in my life that truly changed the course of my journey. It came after I encountered a personal crisis—one that left me feeling lost and disconnected. I was struggling to understand my purpose and direction in life. It was during this time that I was introduced to the world of divination and energy healing. I found solace in tarot, runes, and the deeper insights they provided, which not only gave me clarity but also helped me begin healing from within.
As I explored these sacred practices more, I realized that they had the power to not just heal me, but to guide others toward healing as well. That realization sparked a profound transformation in me. I felt a strong calling to help others who were also struggling to find their way—whether emotionally, mentally, or spiritually. This experience shifted my focus from being inwardly focused on my own struggles to wanting to be a beacon of light for others, especially women and children facing adversity. It gave birth to Safroneya, and from that point, my journey became about using the tools of healing and divination to guide others toward empowerment, peace, and purpose.
Your work with victims of human trafficking and rescued women from brothels is remarkable. What motivated you to take on this critical issue, and what support systems do you think are essential for these survivors?
Thank you for your kind words. Being a rape survivor myself, my commitment to supporting victims of human trafficking and rescued women from brothels is deeply personal. I understand the profound pain, loss, and trauma they endure—their stolen childhoods, shattered dignity, and stripped basic human rights. I have witnessed their silent screams, their resilience in the face of unimaginable suffering, and the long, painful road to reclaiming their lives.
Their stories are not just statistics or distant tragedies; they are real, raw, and deeply human. They ignited a fire in me—not just to be a voice for them, but to take tangible action to help them heal, rebuild, and rise. I believe that no survivor should feel alone or powerless. Every woman deserves to reclaim her sense of self, to walk with dignity, and to live without the shadow of her past defining her future.
Through my work, I strive to create safe spaces for these women—where they can receive the care, counselling, and opportunities they need to start anew. Whether through legal aid, skill development, mental health support, or community reintegration, my mission is to ensure they are not just surviving but thriving. Because healing is not just about recovering from the past; it’s about reclaiming the future with strength, hope, and unwavering determination.
How do you address the specific needs of special children, including those with autism, through art therapy, and what successes have you witnessed in this area?
Addressing the specific needs of special children, especially those with autism, requires a compassionate and tailored approach. Through art therapy, I create a non-verbal, sensory-friendly environment where these children can express themselves freely, without the pressure of structured communication.
How Art Therapy Helps Special Children, Including Those with Autism:
Enhances Communication – Many children with autism struggle with verbal expression. Art therapy provides an alternative language—through colours, textures, and drawings—to communicate emotions and thoughts.
Encourages Sensory Integration – Activities like painting, clay modelling, and texture-based art help regulate sensory sensitivities and improve focus.
Boosts Emotional Regulation – Art is a safe outlet for processing emotions like anxiety, frustration, or excitement, helping children build self soothing techniques.
Improves Motor Skills – Fine motor activities such as brush strokes, cutting, or sculpting aid in hand-eye coordination and muscle development.
Builds Confidence and Social Skills – Group art sessions encourage interaction, cooperation, and self-esteem, reducing social isolation.
Success Stories & Transformations
I have had the privilege of witnessing profound transformations through art therapy:
Non-verbal children expressing emotions through colours—one child who had never spoken began drawing their daily experiences, helping caregivers understand their world.
n A child with extreme sensory sensitivity engaging with textures—gradually moving from reluctance to enjoying different artistic materials.
n Improved focus and reduced anxiety—a previously restless child became calmer and more engaged after consistent sessions.
Through my work, I aim to bridge the gap between their inner world and the external one, empowering them to navigate life with confidence and joy.
Your initiative to educate girls and women about personal hygiene and introduce them to menstrual cups is groundbreaking. What inspired this project, and how do you measure its impact?
My inspiration for this project came from my deep-rooted work with young girls and women rescued from human trafficking and brothels. Many of them lacked basic knowledge about menstrual health and had no access to safe, hygienic products. I saw firsthand how period stigma, misinformation, and economic barriers affected their dignity, health, and confidence.
I strongly believe that every woman has the right to be period happy—to experience menstruation without shame, fear, or discomfort. The menstrual cup became a focal point because it is cost-effective, eco-friendly, and liberating compared to disposable products. By distributing cups for free and conducting educational sessions, we not only provide a practical solution but also empower women with knowledge about their own bodies.
To measure impact, we track:
Adoption Rate: How many women and girls continue using the menstrual cup after initial introduction.
Health Improvements: Reduction in infections, rashes, and discomfort compared to prior practices.
Environmental Impact: Number of disposable pads/tampons replaced by reusable cups.
Community Feedback: Stories of empowerment, comfort, and financial relief shared by beneficiaries.
Awareness Growth: Expansion of outreach through workshops, social media, and word-of-mouth.
The change is slow but incredibly fulfilling. Seeing a girl smile as she realizes menstruation isn’t something to fear, or hearing a woman say she feels free for the first time—it makes every effort worthwhile.
How do you believe education and awareness can help break down stigmas surrounding menstruation and empower women to take control of their health?
Education and awareness are the most powerful tools to dismantle stigmas and empower women to take control of their menstrual health. Menstruation has long been shrouded in myths, taboos, and misinformation, leading to shame, fear, and even restrictions in many cultures. By fostering open conversations and providing factual knowledge, we can challenge these deep-rooted beliefs and create a healthier, more supportive environment for women and girls.
Education plays a crucial role in breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation by normalizing conversations, dispelling myths, and encouraging inclusivity. Open discussions about periods shift the narrative from shame to acceptance, making it essential for schools, families, and workplaces to integrate menstrual education as a natural part of life. Many women still believe they are impure during
menstruation or must avoid certain activities, but science-based education helps correct these misconceptions. Additionally, when boys and men are also educated about menstruation, it removes secrecy and fosters empathy. Awareness empowers women by enabling informed choices about menstrual products, ensuring better health and hygiene, and promoting sustainable options like menstrual cups that offer economic and environmental benefits. Proper education helps prevent
infections and reproductive issues while instilling confidence and self-worth, ensuring that menstruation is no longer seen as a burden but as a natural and powerful aspect of womanhood. By continuing to educate and raise awareness, we can create a world where every girl understands her body and feels empowered to embrace it without fear or shame.
Your book, “Savage Lemonade: An Army Wife’s Spiritual Journey,” explores themes of resilience and personal growth. What lessons have you learned along the way, and how do you apply them in your daily life?
Savage Lemonade: An Army Wife’s Spiritual Journey is deeply personal, reflecting my experiences of resilience, transformation, and self-discovery. One of the greatest lessons I have learned is that adversity is not meant to break us but to shape us. Life, much like lemonade, can be bitter or sweet depending on how we choose to perceive it. I have realized that challenges are opportunities for growth, and embracing them with an open-heart lead to immense personal and spiritual evolution.
Patience, adaptability, and faith are values I carry into my daily life. Being an army wife taught me to find strength in uncertainty, to embrace solitude as a space for self-reflection, and to trust that every struggle has a deeper purpose. My spiritual journey has also reinforced the importance of mindfulness and gratitude—recognizing the beauty in small moments and honouring the present. These lessons fuel my passion for empowering women, advocating for those in need, and continuing my work as a healer and guide. Ultimately, Savage Lemonade is not just my story; it is a reminder to anyone facing hardships that they have the power to turn life’s lemons into something meaningful and transformative.
How do you integrate your spiritual practices, such as psychic mediumship and energy healing, into your work with others, and what benefits do you see in these modalities?
Integrating my spiritual practices, like psychic mediumship and energy healing, into my work with others is an essential part of my approach to healing and empowerment. I believe that every person carries a unique energy, and my role is to help them tap into their inner wisdom and strength. Through psychic mediumship, I connect with intuitive messages from higher realms, guiding individuals to discover deeper insights about themselves and their journeys. This connection often brings clarity, comfort, and understanding, especially for those who may be grappling with loss, uncertainty, or confusion.
Energy healing, particularly through meditation, aura scanning helps to clear blockages and restore balance in a person’s body, mind, and spirit. Many times, emotional and physical pain is linked to energy imbalances, and by working with the body’s energy field, I help release stagnant energy and promote healing from within. I use these modalities to encourage self-awareness and foster a sense of peace, often leading to profound transformation.
The benefits of these spiritual practices are vast. They provide individuals with a sense of grounding and calm, reduce stress and anxiety, and foster personal growth. They can also deepen one’s spiritual connection, leading to greater clarity in decision-making and an enhanced sense of purpose. For me, it’s about
empowering others to reconnect with their highest selves, trust their intuition, and move forward with confidence and peace. It’s truly about supporting them in finding balance, healing, and a deeper sense of inner peace, so they can live authentically and with intention.
You have received numerous awards for your contributions to social causes and women’s empowerment. What do these recognitions mean to you, and how do you stay humble and focused on your mission?
Receiving these awards is both humbling and inspiring. They represent not just personal achievements, but a collective acknowledgment of the work done by so many individuals who share the same passion for empowering women and creating positive social change. While I deeply appreciate these recognitions, they are reminders of the greater mission I am part of—a mission that goes beyond individual accolades. The true reward comes from seeing lives transformed, girls finding their voices, and women reclaiming their dignity and autonomy.
Staying humble and focused on the mission is essential in this line of work. The recognition is a byproduct of the dedication to those I serve, and it’s important to remember that the impact we make is always bigger than any one person. I stay grounded by constantly reflecting on the stories of the people I work with—their struggles, their resilience, and their progress. These reminders keep me centred on the purpose behind my efforts.
Moreover, I never forget the countless women, girls, and communities who inspire me daily with their courage and determination. They are the true heroes. I strive to remain connected to the root of my mission: serving others and creating spaces where everyone can thrive, regardless of their circumstances. Each step forward, whether through recognition or quiet work behind the scenes, is part of a larger journey, and I keep my focus on the ongoing work rather than the praise. It’s about the work, the people, and the positive change that can ripple out from even the smallest efforts.
What are your future plans for expanding your humanitarian work, and are there any potential collaborations or partnerships that you are excited about?
My vision for the future revolves around expanding my humanitarian work to create even more sustainable and impactful change. I plan to focus on scaling up our educational initiatives for girls, particularly in underserved areas, and continue our work with women empowering them in every way possible. We aim to provide them not only with basic support, but also with support
