} My curiosity to explore and create something challenging that I deeply feel about.
} My spontaneity as a person which helps me to never stop learning.
Two things which inspired you to become a poet?
} I find a muse in things that surround me like nature, people, experiences. With such an innate emotion, poetry within me flows.
} Poetry to me is a medium for catharsis, confession and inspiration.
Two challenges you faced to be recognized as an internationally recognized poet?
} To find the right platform to share and express my poems.
} Sometimes to write amidst contemporary poets, on various topics is very challenging.
Two most challenging years of your professional career?
} The trickiest thing is to stay abreast of new publications, new opportunities and changing trends in writing.
} To collaborate with various International Poetry Platforms and finding your voice within them.
Two things you always focus on while creating a poem?
} Words taste nice to me, and chewing them over with an earnesty ,tends to bring out a subtle flavour and a depth to my poems.
} My sensitive inner voice, followed by my vivid imagery helps me to express my poetry clearly, grasping it meaningfully.
Two decisions of your life you never regret?
} To be a writer.
} To exhibit my paintings as an artist.
Two of your own favorites poems in hindi?
} “Yodha”, a poem of mine with a rich narrative celebrating a woman’s strength in many roles, she undertakes to play with confidence and pride.
} ‘Wo…bas lambi judai” is a very descriptive free verse poem. I’ve written it with a shade of a melancholic emotion, expressing grief of separation between two people falling out of love.
Two of your top priorities in your life?
} To collaborate with esteemed poetry platforms in Bahrain and India.
} Be a role model for my daughter to strengthen her self belief in values and traditions.
Two things you always miss about Mumbai?
} The delicious street food.

Two proud moments of your life?
} My first Confluence in Bahrain where I participated as a poet and as an artist, amidst a very versatile fraternity of poets and writers. Integrating with them was a unique and a wholesome experience.
} My very first art exhibition Titled ‘ Mottled Colors of Reflection’ in Bahrain.

} Yoga, followed by a deep meditation.
